 One significant lesson that has stood out to me would be you cannot have a closed mind when thinking about cultures. This lesson is meaningful because if you are closed minded you limit your opportunity to learn about the world. Keeping an open mind could lead you to travelling to so many different countries, which I plan to do. Today we watched a film about different kids from different countries and their journey to school. We answered questions on a packet about it.

 Education is extremely important to me right now. I am going to college in the fall and have to take education very seriously to set me up in a career I am interested in when I am older. There are so many students around the world, I think that there are some that don't value it as much as I do and I think there are a lot that value it more than I do. I think this because some people have a love for learning.

 All of the presentations were interesting, but the one I found most interesting was the Italian presentation. This one was interesting because I learned new stereotypes about them that I didn't know. My presentation deepened my understanding of Native Americans because I learned about all the diversity throughout Native Americans. Today we watched every presentation and also presented ours.

 The role that plays a bigger impact in shaping my career choice is my passion for what I am doing. If I don't like what I am doing while working I would end up hating my life because of the fact that I have to put so much effort in to something I am not interested in.

 The most exciting thing about graduating is being able to live on my own. I am excited to be responsible for myself and be able to do what I want. I am looking forward to playing college lacrosse, I have worked a lot to be able to play in college. Today we watched a ted talk and answered questions on the video.

Everything that I like to wear is not outside of a norm in my society. I have never worn an outfit that was noticeably different than what I normally wear. With this being said I've never gotten reactions. Today we watched a short film and answered questions based on it.

 A film that comes to mind when I think about my culture would be Dazed and Confused. This movie is set in the south where my roots are from. The movie is about nothing but people getting by in high school, and they are living a southern lifestyle. Today we worked on our project.
